These tires were on the vehicle when I bought it with 45,000 miles on the vehicle. I knew these were the second tire set as the spare is a goodyear. They were about 2/3 - 3/4 tread life on them at purchase of the truck. I have put on 56,000 miles since I purchased the vehicle and the tires are about ready to be changed out. The sidewalls are just now starting to show some age with micro cracks. The tires are still quiet even with the treads at 3/32" or so; traction is still really good unless there is a heavy rain where the tires cannot channel the water away. I have driven on snow and ice a couple of times and the tires gripped the snow quite well, but, of course, they were slick on ice (no tire is good on ice except studded tires). I believe the hype on the tire tread life of around 80,000 miles if they are taken care of properly (ie: rotation, balancing, pressure checks, etc). These Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus tires are so good that I am wanting to replace them with the same type of tire I have had on the truck the past 56,000 miles. I am just hoping that Bridgestone Quality is still high and meets my expectations on this next set.
Great tire. Quiet all season highway performance. 30,000 miles to date.
Very good tire. Im approaching 70,000 miles on a set of these tires. I probably could reach the 80,000 miles they are rated for but would need to do so driving through the next upcoming New England winter so I will swap them out before it. No issues at all. I have rotated every 5 to 7 thousand miles, very important for lifespan of any tire.
80,000 mile warranty? Are you kidding me? Why then at 40,000 miles do I have tread separation, tire cracking, uneven treadwear, and excessive treadwear all with Chevrolet tire monitoring while driving mainly back and forth from work? To top it off since the tire manufacturers now have a 5 year limit on their warranties unless you drive 20,000 miles a year you'll never be able to take advantage of the warranty anyway. Avoid these crappy tires at all cost.
These tires are really good as far as traction and handling. I've driven them in snow and was very impressed. They are just a lot noisier than what I'm used to on my GMC Envoy XL.
Just had these installed today. Wow - what a difference. I had Bridgestone Dueler H/L Ecopia 422 previously. They were pretty good, but these Alenza Plus are that much better. Aside from the worn-to-new tire transition, these have better cornering and steering response. I'd say the are a bit quieter, too, and the 422's were pretty quiet to begin with. We got 40,000+ miles out of the 422's with 1/32" tread left. I don't believe the mileage hype, but the Alenza Plus is supposed to last longer. Anyway, on day 1 am very satisfied with my selection.
I have had these tires for one month. I have experienced snow, rain, and dry conditions. They have been wonderful!
Jeep new 2014 with diesel and uprated trail rated package. With Michelin latitude p 265/60R 18 BSW 109 t. Shame on Jeep and Michelin for allowing this tire on a Jeep trail rated off road package.
Extremely quiet and very responsive. No wet or snow experience yet. Tires look great on the Mercedes....best of all Super Wifey is satisfied. Happy Wife....happy life!
I have only had these on for 3000 miles. We have had a lot of rain this summer and they handle great. This winter they were wonderful in the snow/ice/sleet/slush. I would recommend these tires to anyone with a suv or 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Love the tires. Buying another set today!
These tires are awesome compared to the OEM Dunlaps and the Michelins I had just replaced. The road noise is as quiet as ever. Highly recommend these tires for any SUV!
After having a tire belt break from the deep pot holes after a horrible winter, I was able to get my tires replaced and I have the smoothest ride I have ever had in my vehicle!
